Good to know

Sitting on 5 acres, on a hill overlooking Morongo Valley, with the San Bernardino Mountains serving as a backdrop, a private road will bring you home for your stay. You'll be minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs, Yucca Valley, local hot spots, and stores. As you settle in, you'll be provided robes, slippers, toiletries, coffee/tea, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances fit for a chef, and a dining nook that seats four. A queen bed, yoga mats, vanity, and a touch of decor wait for you in the bedroom. You'll find a vinyl record player, acoustic guitar, classic games, a 65" TV, and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A corner workspace has two stations available. The outdoors offers plenty to do as well. Enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the sunrise in a swinging egg chair. Stroll through the garden and surrounding wilderness of desert flora. Let the valley wind rock you in a hammock. Gaze at the mountains as your inner kid rides the swings. Huddle around the fire pit while kicking back in Adirondacks. Recline on lounge chairs, soaking in the colorful sunset. And when it gets dark, and the sky is filled with stars, bring the telescope out for a new perspective.

Guest Access

Make the turn off of Highway 62 (29 Palms Highway) onto a dirt road and drive for about 1 minute. Usually smooth, rains can make it a bit bumpy. The inside is ideal for 2 guests, however, we can easily accommodate 4. The couch in the living room converts to a queen-sized bed

We had so much fun in the Palm Springs area and absolutely loved this Airbnb. It was close enough to town to easily make a trip in for necessities while still being private and remove enough to feel peaceful. The hosts were both proactive and responsive, and it exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary here in the desert. The home is comfy and minimalistic with just what ya need. We are probably the only guest to not know how to turn on the ac in the living room, but the WIFI worked well so we were able to look it up and it really cooled down the home. There was also an ac/fan in the kitchen that doubled up on cooling down the entire home. Not sure if there is an bbq grill since we ate out at Pappy and Harriet's 2 nights in a row for a couple of unforgettable live music shows! We also ate out at a couple breakfast spots that we will return to! Everything was super close! The hot tub was nice and warm for the desert night but maybe a tad too much chlorine. It made our eyes burn. We didn't mind cuddling up on the couch for a movie instead though. We had a lovely time! Only 30 mins from Palm Springs where we went for a day pool pass at the JW Marriott Resort Spa Sat and Joshua Tree Nat Park is only 15 mins away. 🌸🐝🌵🏜️

We found the desert cabin cozy and well equipped. Kitchen is huge and appliances new. Bed was comfortable, shower had lots of water pressure, all linens and towels perfect, outdoor space has a warm jacuzzi for star gazing, and a propane fireplace for hanging around. Traffic noise from the road below depends on the wind direction, mostly just a low background hum and a string of lights moving in the distance. The host had provided nice extra touches, even travel toothpaste, lotions, coffee pods etc. Kids will like the swing set and for the dog there was dishes set up. Overall it was an easy and relaxing stay, halfway between the hiking at Joshua Tree and Palm Springs.
